I am an experienced professional yoga teacher based in Mallorca, Spain (since 2010) with a Higher Level Diploma in Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy. As a yoga teacher, I’ve discovered that body, mind and consciousness are integrated. I bring this awareness to hypnotherapy.
My fascination with people and my desire to heal have always been with me. Before I became a yoga teacher, I was a hair and make-up artist working for the best star hairdressers in Germany. Yet I soon realised my interest was more in the therapeutic aspect of hairdressing. I learned to listen and see all humankind’s colourful aspects without judgment.
I came to yoga from gymnastics and martial arts. I became intrigued by the spiritual dimension of martial arts. Realizing that there was far more to life than I’d imagined was a revelation for me and I was hungry to learn more.
My own yoga practice led me to a profound understanding of my body and myself which grows constantly. As a yoga teacher, my purpose is to awaken this in my students, combining empathy and my gift for motivation.
Studying and teaching yoga and mindfulness, I learned that ancient wisdom and modern science often arrive at the same conclusion- for example, that mindfulness breathing reduces anxiety. I wanted to integrate everything I’ve learned to help people arrive at a level of practical self-knowledge they could use in their own everyday lives.
I chose Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy because it compliments yoga perfectly. And I know that, when you are open, ready to embrace change and stick at it, it simply works.
Today, I am registered with ACCPH, and approved by the British Psychological Society.
I have attended several Yoga Teacher Trainings (E-500 RYT).
Most of all, everything I do is combining ancient wisdom, science and the magic within all of us to enable you to appreciate that life happens now, change, find your path and follow it.
